The Morals of Image Enhancement

Our wedding photography business Wedding Photography Birmingham is based on backdrop of both digital and printed design and image manipulation. This means that we can (and do) retouch images and can go as far doing a really serious magazine makeover. What continues to surprise us though, as we talk to new brides, is the strength of feeling in both directions! Some brides simply see it as a truly wonderful way to make sure that their wedding pictures will simply be perfect - others are repulsed at the idea of being represented as anything other than themselves on the day. And, we can certainly see both points.

Is it a stance that changes with age?

You bet! Never yet met a mother of the bride who wouldn't wan to be digitally enhanced in the pics! With age comes wisdom? We couldn't possibly comment. 

What's our point of view?

Hey, we're just photographers, we leave the moral questions to bigger and better thinkers than ourselves. Good luck finding an image of us with a blemish though.....
